All information and services on Careerforums.co.uk is focused on helping people in finding a job, making career decisions and to help clients in recruiting staff through retail specific recruitment events. Use of this information is on the basis of the above and can not be used for any commercial use.
We try to provide a service that is always accessible to users but can not guarantee such a service. If there is down time we always endeavour to return the services A.S.A.P.

Exhibitors/Advertisers
This web site (Careerforums.co.uk) and the Career Forums recruitment events are owned and operated by The Appointment Ltd and is made available to you on the following terms and conditions. By using the site and the services available on it you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.
All business undertaken between your company/organisation and Career Forums specified on the booking order form is subject to these terms and conditions of business.
All booking forms must be signed and dated before Career Forums will accept the booking.
Definitions
- Exhibition means: Career Forums – Let's Talk Retail
- Organisers means: The Appointment Ltd
- Exhibitor/Agency means: Any company or organisation, and the staff or agents of any such company or organisation, contracting with the Organisers to take stand space.
Time
Access will be given to set up stands from 2 hours before event opening. Exhibitors will have two hours to dismantle their stands. Stands are not to be broken down until the event is closed. If the Exhibitor does not remove their stand in the specified time the organiser shall remove the stand on their behalf. A charge equivalent to the cost of removing the stand will be charged to the Exhibitor.
Allocation of Stand
The Organisers shall make every effort to allocate the stand space shown on the floor plan and agreed with the Exhibitor. The right is reserved to change that stand space if the venue management or safety inspectors require changes on the dates of the event.
Payment
50% on bookings. 50% 30 days prior to exhibition date.
Cancellation
Refunds for cancellation will be applied according to the following schedule if written notice is received by up to eight weeks before the commencement of the Exhibition:
- No refund up to eight weeks prior to the event
- Between eight and 12 weeks 50%
- Over 12 weeks 75%
In the event of cancellation of the Exhibition by the Organisers for any reason, liability to the Exhibitors will be restricted to the amount paid to the Organisers for the stand space booked. The space booked may only be used by the Exhibitor and no substitutes are permitted without the written permission of the Organisers. Only logos and promotional material relating to the Exhibitor can be displayed or distributed by the Exhibitor. Exhibitors are responsible for the conveyance and erection of their own stands.
Shell stands
Shell stands will be erected by contractors working for the Organisers and will be 2.4m in height. The square metre floor space allocated is stated above. The Exhibitor will be responsible for any damage caused to the shell stands by their staff, agents or visitors to their stand. All exhibitors must comply with regulations and requirements of the venue management. In agreeing this contract they accept also the normal regulations of the venue management. Exhibitors' equipment must not be displayed beyond the boundaries of their agreed space and must not overhang or in any way obstruct the views along the gangways.
Attendance
The Organisers will not be held responsible by the exhibitor for the failure to attend the exhibition by other exhibitors or other visitors to the exhibition.
Exhibition Premises
Exhibitors will be responsible for any damage done to the fabric of the venue building and its equipment, including decoration, carpets, curtains, toilet facilities and furniture. All goods delivered to the exhibition must properly marked up as directed by a member of the Career Forums team, or delivery may be refused.
Exhibitors must not display any advertisements or material anywhere in the venue other than on their own stand. They must not behave in a way that could be objectionable or offensive to any other exhibitor or venue staff. Contravention of this rule could result in immediate expulsion. Tickets are issued on the understanding that visitors are there to obtain career advice and/or to speak with potential employers. Visitors are not permitted to canvas exhibitors and the exhibition is not open to recruitment agents and consultants other than those exhibiting, or to other electronic media. The Organisers reserve the right to alter or waive any of these terms and conditions at their discretion.
